RODECS® is the world’s only industrial-scale batch decoating, de lacquering, and drying system. The innovative design, supported by multiple worldwide patent documents (WIPO), allow the system to accept an impressive range of scrap types, with a wide range of coatings. The processed scrap leaves the RODECS® guaranteed completely clean and dry. The RODECS® system is Integrated with CHINOOK FILTERS (Ultra-High Temperature Filters). The emissions from the combined system comply with all European and USA-EPA regulations. RODECS® process airborne by-products (emission-gases and particulates) are incinerated internally, prior to releasing to the atmosphere. The internal design uniquely selects larger mass airborne particulates. It retains them inside the higher temperature incineration stages even longer than other particulates, permitting even further and longer incineration time.

The RODECS® Patented Operational Cycle is composed of two loops, Incineration Loop and Processing Loop. The Incineration Loop uses multi-stage incineration with temperatures in the range of 850 C° – 1200 C° The unique cycle design ensures the destruction of all volatile organic compounds (VOC) in the emission gases. This is achieved by retaining the VOCs inside the incineration loop (I.e. increase gaseous Residence Time) (> 4 Seconds). |
The RODECS® Cycle prolongs the gaseous residence time in the Incineration Loop (Loop repetition). This is innovatively achieved by integrated the system-design into the process-control, allowing further incineration (if required) and permitting Continued Compliance With Future More Stringent environmental regulations.
